The reveal you’ve been waiting for: Kevin Kos will be our special guest for a legendary masterclass & a strangely appropriate shift @Oddity Centru. \nAnd if you’ve gotta be somewhere else on May 10th\, we think things will be pretty clear for ya once you read his story: \n👋 “I am Kevin Kos\, a 33-year-old bartender from Slovenia\, working in hospitality since I was 16\, which means that this year marks the point where I’ll be working in this fascinating industry for half of my life! But bartending happened randomly since I originally enrolled in a civil engineering school. When I finished school\, I stuck to the job I worked at\, and had fun in. After winning the Havana Grand Prix 2018 competition in Slovenia\, my career and motivation took off and I quickly realized that I will be doing this job for a long time. I was offered a head bartender position in Niagara Cocktail Bar in Maribor where I started with my own Thursday evening called “Unknown Taste”. There I serve a three-course cocktail menu with food pairings. This evening pushed me even further in learning new things and techniques. Ever since I learned some things about bartending and mixology\, I wanted to share the knowledge through my staff and recently on my YouTube channel called “Cocktail Time with Kevin Kos”. A project where I work with two of my good friends\, Sašo Veber (Director of Photography) and Robi Fišer (the Director). I will visit Romania and present my philosophy of creating a cocktail from classics and elevating it using local ingredients. Also\, I can’t wait to hang out with you there!
